Dr. Eric Davis is a leading expert in advanced space nuclear and breakthrough propulsion and power engineering-physics, bringing approximately four decades of combined aerospace-defense industry, U.S. government, and academic experience in astrophysics, general relativity and quantum field theories, directed energy weapons, quantum technologies, and future and transformation concepts. His experience includes nearly 30 years of scientific and technical program leadership, program office subject matter expert support roles, and national security disciplines. He has additional expertise in leading advanced high-risk/high-payoff research projects for the U.S. government and aerospace-defense industry. Dr. Davis has a proven record of success in over 60 scientific publications, 56 professional presentations including classified and unclassified bicameral Congressional committee briefings on Capitol Hill. He is currently the Chief Scientist of a defense industry firm in Virginia. From 2008 to 2021, Dr. Davis was a scientific advisor to the DIA’s AAWSAP (nicknamed AATIP), the separate AATIP that followed, and the ONI’s UAP Task Force. From 2019 to 2024, he was a Senior Project Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation in Huntsville, AL, where he supported NASA, Air Force Research Lab, and Office of the Secretary of Defense projects on the development and testing of space nuclear propulsion engines and portable, compact space and terrestrial nuclear microreactor power systems for commercial and military applications.
